One of the highlights for me was the interaction with the trainer which allowed us to practice what we just learned.
I remember the great feeling we got when we realized that we had really understood what the course was all about and how to use the different techniques.
You leave thinking “I know I know how to tackle emotional situations now without reacting or not knowing what to say”.
I used what I’d learned almost immediately. I had a very angry customer on the phone, and I managed to diffuse the situation. I just let him let off steam and then I immediately came in with the calming words and empathy that I learned on the course.
He came to see me afterwards and he was a completely different character.
The course manual is good, I actually I carry around with me. I use it in my personal life as well.
